Tanja was trained as a high school science teacher and had an interest in photography for many years. Only recently did she begin to pursue it, after borrowing an old Minolta from her dad. She received all of the materials to set up a darkroom as a gift, and began developing film and making prints in her kitchen. Tanja shoots some medium format but mostly shoots 35mm with a Nikon F2 that could also be used to stop a bullet if need be. Her interest is mainly in street and landscape photography, and she enjoys the challenge of the hands-on process of making prints.
