We may naïvely think that, in taking a photograph, we produce an image that depicts a scene that exists independently of us. In reality, these images are just reflections of who we are.

Arturo Pianzola is a professional mathematician with a long term passion for photography, both film and digital. His main photographic interest is to capture the interaction between persons and everyday life. He has also done commissioned documentary projects.
Arturo’s work has been showcased in Leica Fotografie International, and has been displayed and is part of collections in Europe, Japan and North/South America.
